I had the opportunity to try out the Mommy Lhey inks and I fell in love with the aqua colors. I decided to make a very monochromatic aqua colored card.
To select my inks, I first swatched the inks to see what colors I wanted to use.
This ink swatch sheet can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vr4jp6pwj2l1yhf/InkChartMommyLhey.pdf?dl=0
I really enjoyed blending these three colors together. I blended them using an ink applicator from Tim Holtz on Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I die cut my panel but used the inside pieces to make my card. If you do not have this die, you can cut out twelve, one inch squares to make the background.
I just wanted to show you this piece I did not use to show how the ink blended. Super easy!
For the images, I used the Daily Pinky Adventures stamp set, which is PERFECT for planner pages, but also cute to make a great scene on a card. I colored mine in using copic markers in the BG color range.
Hope you give this a try!!
