Hello planner friends! It’s me Cammy with my last post on the MommyLhey blog as a Design Team member. Time really flew so quickly this year! I can’t believe I’ve been a ML Girl for 6 months already. It has been an amazing experience and I’m truly honoured to be a part of this incredibly talented team. I’ll always be a ML Girl at heart ☺
Today I’m here to share with you my planner spread for next week. I wanted to create a spread that reminded me of how I initially got obsessed with MommyLhey’s stamps. I first started using stamps when my friend, Lucy brought her ML stamps out on a planner date, and she shared them with me. Since then, I’ve been an addict!
I’m a planner girl who loves her stickers, washi and stamps – these have always been my staples ever since I got into the creative planning world. For this spread, I incorporated some of my favourite MommyLhey girls, and none of my spreads are considered ‘complete’ until I add a positive sentiment!
For this weekly spread, I used:
- 3×4 stamp set from August Little Bits Box
- Think Positive
- Big Brush Set V1
- Inspired Flora
- Keep Sparkling
- Bossy Boss
- MommyLhey Pigment inks in Sky, Tainted Brown, Blush and Beach Bum
- A pre-decorated daily spread
First, I looked through all my stamp sets to find some images that suited my plans for the week. I stamped them onto sticker paper, fussy cut them out and colored them in using color pencils.
Then, I arrange them onto my spread where there were empty spaces.
Last but not least, I picked my favourite motivational sentiments and stamped them straight onto the page using the pigment inks, which are seriously THE BEST! The colors are so vibrant and they do not bleed through.
I love how the girl eating the ice cream complements the ombre full box beside her, and the phrase “She made it happen” motivates me to get work done on Tuesday! Heh. I can’t be the only one who needs positive words of affirmation in her planner right?
On Wednesday, I need to get work done, but I’d also like to schedule some me time for planning at night! The “You go girl” and “you deserve this” are some of my most used stamps of all time. <3
Finally on Saturday, that girl in bed (from the August Little Bits) is perfect for me time again! A much needed reminder to get some rest.
This spread reminds me of how much I love using MommyLhey’s stamps in my planner. No fancy techniques or layering, just plain ol’ stamping and coloring. I hope this inspires you to pull out your stamp sets and incorporate them into your daily pages. Til the next time! Love ya all ☺
