Hi Planner Girls! It’s Celene! Hello from the Philippine Islands where it’s almost always hot and sunny! I mean seriously, it feels like the country is inside a sauna! And there’s nothing like ice cream and halo-halo (it’s a yummy shaved ice dessert from the PH) to save the day!
And because these treats are sinfully delicious, I know in my heart that indulging in them would also mean I need to burn them from my system really fast! Haha!
I have this Mini Happy Planner Fitness Log which I have been wanting to start and set-up since last month but the arrival of my cute Mommy Lhey Bootyfull Stamp Set couldn’t be more than perfect timing.
So I’m inviting you to come join me in setting up my Fitness Planner! I am making a dashboard for it and decorating a full week’s spread with you!
For the dashboard, I have envisioned for it to have all the positive encouraging words that would push me and remind me to get up and running! We all know how working out is both a physical and mental game. We all need the good motivation we can get!
I’ve cut a clean white cardstock to the size of the Mini Happy Planner Dashboard. The size is 4 7/8″ x 7 1/4″. I first stamped the meditating girl from the No Adulting stamp set. I think she is perfect in the front cover as her chill vibe is my ultimate mindset goal towards working out. I stamped her everywhere to form a pattern. Next, I got the motivational words from the Bootyfull stamp set: Beauty Has No Size!, I Can Do This! #Goal, Workout!, You Are So Booty-full! & Start Today!. From the Keep Sparkling stamp set I chose #iloveme. All these phrases I stamped to form a pattern alongside the meditating girl. In between the spaces I added stamped images from Royalty (5 mini hearts), I Am Vine (heart outline) and Bootyful (weighing scale, water bottle, bow, and measuring tape). I went ahead to color the stamped images using colored pencils. Once done, I laminated it using a home laminator and punched it using a Happy Planner puncher.
I also used the Bootyfull stamp set to decorate my weekly fitness spread. Since I would be needing most of the space to log in my meals and the information clocked in on my fitness band, I carefully chose the spaces I would decorate in.
I chose to decorate the upper left page corner and the space intended for AM Snacks (as I don’t take AM Snacks anyway). I used 2 different stamping techniques here: masking and stamping on sticker paper.
Masking is the process of stamping images side by side without overlapping lines. To do this, you need to make a mask of your chosen images by stamping them on plain white paper (a cardstock would be best), and fussy cutting them one by one. It is important to fussy cut flush on the edges of your stamped image. This ensures a well connected group of stamped images when done properly.
Place an adhesive at the back of each cut image. When stamping side by side place the mask of the first image on top of its flat stamped image and then stamp the second image overlapping a small portion of it over the mask of the first image. Remove the mask once done, admire your work then repeat.
I also like stamping images on sticker paper. I do this when I don’t like to stamp directly on my spread because the lines in it would make my stamped image look awkward. I would then prefer stamping on sticker paper first, fussy cutting the image and sticking it to my spread.
Once done, I colored the images away using colored pencils. I also accentuated the pages with slim washi tapes to complete the look that I want.
Now I’m ready to start my fitness journey! Wish me luck!
