Hello Planner Addicts!!
It’s Stephanie [IG: beautybystarlet] back on the Mommylhey blog with another exciting post! I thought I’d share with you guys how I use my Mommylhey stamp sets in my Bullet Journal!
If you are a fellow #planneraddict, #stampaddict or even a #bulletjournaljunkie, you will definitely want to keep reading 🙂
Scissors or Die Cutting Machine
Tombow Brush Pens (optional)
I started out by sorting through some of my favorite Mommylhey stamp sets. Since I prefer to color in the stamps with copic markers, I decided I’d make stickers for my bullet journal instead of stamping directly onto my pages.
After stamping the girls that I wanted to use in my bullet journal, I took out my copic markers and started to color away! If you have a die cutting machine, you can use it to kiss cut around your stamped images as well. If not, no worries! Precision scissors also do a great job!
Now comes the fun part! I decided to use my favorite pigment inks from Mommylhey. The colors I picked out this week are “Sky,” “Midnight Sky,” “Lavender” and “Peonie Pink“. If you haven’t used these pigment inks before, I would definitely recommend them! They do not bleed and have awesome color payout! For these inks, I am stamping them directly onto my bullet journal.
Next, I decided to use the weekday headers from the “Beautiful Days” stamp set to layout the days of the week.
After deciding the spacing of my weekdays, I took out the stickers that I made earlier and distributed them among my week! I absolutely <3 this cute pop of color in my bullet journal!
To fill in the blank spaces, I took out my “Big Brush Set” stamps and decorated my pages with these awesome sentiments!
Lastly, I brought out my favorite ruler to create custom boxes around each weekday! I used my Tombow brush pens to box the days in and to create a pretty March header!
hope you guys enjoyed this post! Tag me on Instagram [beautybystarlet] with your Mommylhey bullet journal layouts! I can’t wait to see 🙂
See you next time!
