Hey guys, it’s Lisa on the blog today.
For my very first blog post on the Design Team I want to share a scrapbook layout I made using the November Little Bits. Even though the kit is made for planners, you can easily use it for scrapbooking. I especially love the patterned papers and ephemera for scrapbooking.
Everything I used was included in the November Little Bits kit.
What first caught my eye when I got the kit, were the papers. I loooove the big flowers on them. So I knew I wanted to cut them out and use them somehow. I decided to cut out a lot of the flowers that were on the edges and had a straight border to them. I then placed them all around the page. To make them stand out more, I stitched around all of them, using red, pink and green thread.
I then used four little pictures of myself and arranged them like they were hanging on a piece of thread. To give a little bit more dimension, I matted them on the pieces of cardstock that are in most of the MommyLhey packages.
I then used the ephemera/die cut pieces to embellish the whole thing. What I especially liked, were the little cute critter heads… I placed them between the pictures.
For my title I used some letter stickers from my stash, I added some gold splatters and gold sequins and the layout was complete.
Thank you so much for joining me today and if you want to see the whole process video, you can check it out on Lhey’s YouTube channel.
