I wanted to showcase in this blog post how I used the bookmarks and customized them into my Mini Happy Planner!
If you’re familiar with the Little Bits Box, you’ll know that this is by far the best planner box out there!
In this month’s box, I couldn’t get enough of the die cuts!!! How cute are these? I also have to mention that I’m absolutely obsessed with this month’s floral washi tape!! <3 <3 I used the die cuts and glued them into my monthly and weekly layouts for decoration!
In my weekly layout, I added in the August post it checklist to further enhance my spread! I love adding post it notes to my weekly layouts because I can easily remove them and bring them with me! Perfect for grocery lists (hint hint)!
For the customized bookmarks, I measured the distance of the width of my Mini Happy Planner Insert page to the bookmark in my August box. As you can see I’ve drawn lines on the sides of the bookmark to indicate my cut lines.
If you have a paper cutter this would be the time to bust that guy out! If not, make sure to use a ruler prior to cutting your lines. I don’t own a HP hole punch, so I like to use a regular hold punch and scissors to create my hole punches instead. It works just as well.
And there you have it! A customized bookmark using the goodies from the August Little Bits Box! I hope all of you have enjoyed reading my blog posts! Tag me on [IG: @beautybystarlet] so that I can see your creations!
