In ML little bits boxes there are so many different elements that you can use to create your very own creative masterpiece. I would even recommend saving all packaging inserts, because they can be reused, trust me! I keep everything from ML little bits boxes.
Shakers are my newfound obsession, so I decided to make a shaker/divider for my planner that I can take everywhere with me. And it was so easy to make! Anyone can make this beauty with the right tools. Besides ML little bits, the only tools needed to make this shaker are a fuse tool and plastic page protectors. Yep, just two tools and ML little bits are all you need!
Before I begin a project, I always lay out the elements (pictures, stickers, etc..) that I want to add to the project. In this case, I will only be using ML little bits, so I just had to grab pictures.
Remember when I said “keep everything, throw nothing away”, well this is where it comes in handy. I previously made Travelers Notebook inserts using the same January little bits box and I had some scraps left over. Using those scraps, I cut them down and added stickers to decorate the smaller pockets of the page protector. Inside the other small pockets, I added pictures of my babies.
For the larger center pocket, I’m using one of the packing inserts (yes, the thing the goodies came in) that background was too cute to waste. I cut it down a little smaller than the actual pocket to fit and left some room for fusing the pocket. Before I fused the pocket, I added some sequin and die cuts for the shaker elements and fused the pocket closed with my fuse tool. Super easy, right?
This shaker is something that I will have in my planner always, because it’s so cute and doesn’t take up much space. I think I’m going to go back and make more from my other little bits kits, since I never throw any of it away!
