Hello friends! Brenda Smith here with you today sharing a memory planner spread I made using the December stamps.
I set out to maximize my use of the stamps on my spread. My Happy Planner is undated so I used the numbers from What’s Today to date my spread. I also used the days of the week stamps from What’s Today and stamped in Escape, then used my Silhouette and the PixScan mat to fussy cut for me (because that’s so not a strength of mine!).
When the Washi Shabby bundle arrived in my mailbox, I couldn’t wait to use them on a spread. Those three tapes are one of my favorite combinations ever! It’s the perfect balance of floral, neutral, and sparkle.
The images from the Magical You stamp set are perfect for this photo of my daughter with her sparkly headband ears on. I stamped the unicorn girl in Queen of the Night as well as the happy face from Good Vibes. “Be the Magic” is from Magical You as well and is stamped in Palm Tree.
The bulleted hearts stamp is from What’s Today and is also stamped in Queen of the Night. The “be kind” sentiment is from the Good Vibes set and is stamped in Escape. I used the enamel dots from the December Little Bits kit to accent my spread.
On my memory planner spreads, I tell as many stories as I wish for any given week. When placing the words on my spread, I don’t concern myself with making sure the words fit in the box that corresponds with the exact day it occurred on. I know this might make some people’s brain crazy but it’s specific enough for me.
I used Good Vibes heavily on this side of the spread. The “Good Vibes only” sentiment is stamped using Peonie Pink and it is one of my favorite ink colors Mommy Lhey has. It’s just so vibrant and saturated! “You are worth it” is stamped in Palm Tree and the girl image is stamped in Queen of the Night.
You may notice that my stamped girls don’t necessarily pertain to the memory I was sharing but I’m okay with that too. This week was a very busy work week for me so even though I didn’t share any stories pertaining to work, I stamped these girls to remind me that I worked my tail end off that week.
How are you using the December stamp sets? If you have not already, join the Mommy Lhey Facebook group and show us what you’re making!
