Hello loves! It’s ML Girl Claudia here and I’m so excited that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Valentine’s Day is my absolute favorite holiday! One of the ways I love to celebrate is by making handmade cards for my loved ones.
To begin I gathered a few of my favorite Mommy Lhey products and some card stock along with a few other basic craft supplies like scissors and adhesive.
I don’t know about you but I fell in love with the Washi Shabby Bundle! The pink florals and black plaid are the perfect combination and oh so romantic! I knew I absolutely had to use these!
I began by laying this washi diagonally on a piece of white card stock. I alternated the black plaid washi and the floral washi creating a background pattern. Next I layered my patterned card against a piece of black cardstock to create a frame and finally I glued this to a folded piece of green cardstock. I like to use what supplies I have on hand and I love how this combination turned out.
I then punched a heart shape and stamped the word “love” from the Cuddles Stamp Set onto the heart and used a glue dot to affix it to my card! I am obsessed with the Queen of the Night ink! The pigment is so rich making it perfect for everything from planning to card making!
I loved how this card turned out! It was super simple to create and I am so excited to give it to my sweet husband! I know he will love it!
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post! I’ll be back again soon with another fun project! In the meantime have you subscribed to the Mommy Lhey newsletter?
