Hey #planner babes it’s Nita here to share with you how I “Dress Up” (set up) my Back to Basic TN using the July Little Bits Box. The first step to set up your TN is to “dress” your pocket. This simply means to embellish your pocket with some of your favorite die cuts, paper clips, and pocket cards. One of my favorite items in the little bits box each month is the exclusive stamp set. Every month I like to create custom die cuts from the set to use for various projects each month. This month I decided I would create a set of triplets to use in my set up. I used a heavy white card stock paper to stamp my dolls. I used a pair of sharp scissors to fussy cut them. I added a few more die cuts and a paper clip that came inside my box to finish my pocket.
The next step in dressing up your TN is to decorate your insert cover. I started by cutting out one of the flowers from the pattern paper that was included in the box. I used this flower to frame the rest of my embellishments around. I added a mix of die cuts that included both florals and words. I decided I needed more flair so I added some of the embellishment sequins that were included in the July Box.
The Final step to dress up your TN is to pre-design a few of your pages for on the go planning. Each month I do something a little different. This month I wanted to highlight the beautiful washi tape that was included in my box. I used a few of the tabs and more the die cuts to create fun page that I could journal in. You can embellish your pages as much as you like. There is no such thing as too much flair, don’t be afraid to try something different. I’ m looking forward to you ladies playing dress up with your TN.
