The October Little Bits kit is so bright and fun and I couldn’t wait to do some memory planning with it. I cut up some of the papers from the kit to decorate the bottom of my pages. Then I picked out some coordinating washi and covered up the box headers.
I picked out one of the oversized page flags and used it as a primary embellishment for this side of the spread. I printed out a few pictures from events that week and glued down. Then I got out my Mommy Lhey stamps and looked around for places on my spread that needed a little extra something.
I used my Silhouette Cameo and the pen tool to “type” the journaling on my page. As you can see, sometimes coverage can be a little spotty but for the most part it works really well and I like the clean look. I stamped the “Let it Go” from the Doodled Porcupine set and the branch and “Cup Full of Love” from the “Officially Fall” set in Sea Breeze.
I particularly loved the stamp of a cluster of plus signs because I found it was the perfect accent piece to stamp all around and unite the spread together.
There are so many fun stickers to choose from on the sheets that come in the Little Bits kit. I had no shortage of fun embellishments to make this spread stand out. I added two more photos to my spread and love how depicting they are of the memories I am documenting.
I stamped the plus signs from the Little Bits kit stamp, and the exclamation mark and “OMG” from the Currently Set in black ink. Then I stamped the “Big Smile” from the Doodled Porcupine set in Sea Breeze.
The ampersand is also from the Currently Set and I love the graphic look it helps give this spread without overwhelming it. And how perfect is that emoji sticker from the Little Bits kit for this picture of my daughter?!
