Hi Everyone, Leslie here, and I am excited to show you the super fabulous January Little Bits kit by Mommy Lhey and how I used this kit for my Memory Planning in my A5 ring bound Planner. Our kit comes with so much, the gorgeous papers, sticky notes, ephemera, enamel dots, PL journal cards, so many Stickers for planner pages and decorating our pages, the super cute pen, and the washi. I love this washi, black and white floral that we can color!
To start out I chose two of the double sided sheets from our kit for my memory planing pages and hole punched them for my A5 planner. I love all of Mommy Lhey’s designs, and I thought these two were perfect. One of the sheets has the beautiful floral she drew, so I chose some Tombow dual tip markers that match my color scheme and colored in a background for some of my photos I will be using.
I use an old project life container to hold my current kit I am planning with, and it works great for organizing all my ephemera, sequins, notes and journal cards. My focus for this week’s layout is my favorite memories from January. I picked out some gorgeous journal cards from our kit and fun ephemera that go along with my theme. I love all the little touches of gold foiling on our cards and stickers. I also used these awesome camera sticky notes to use for my journaling. I laid out all my photos, cards, journaling notes and ephemera and played around with it all till I found a layout I was happy with. I then took the backing from one of our kit packages, hole punched, and added a photo with the cutest little bunny (bottom left corner of picture). I will write more journaling to the back of the card and add it to my pages.
I found some pocket pages for adding in extra photos and decorative touches that would fit great in my A5. One of my favorite parts of the kit is the Little Bits Fairy Dusts. These are so fun to use for dashboards, shaker clips and in this case, a few shaker pockets. I love all these colors she chose for the month. Using a fuse tool, I stuffed the pocket with the sequins, sealed the edge, and then glued some ephemera to the top of the pocket.
I cut up some of the pretty papers for more interest in the pockets, and used the paper I colored for the backing of my daughter’s photo. These project life journal cards are so fun to add in these pockets. I glued to the front of the pockets the ephemera “Life Is Good” and a few more gold foil stickers from our kit for highlights. I also used the beautiful floral washi which I colored in with the Tombow markers, and added some of the enamel dots that was included in our kit. We get so much in our kits, the possibilities and creative uses are endless.

I love seeing all the pieces added together, and all the added elements that help bring these memories to life. This will be so great to look at and share with my family.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I use the Mommy Lhey Designs Little Bits Kits for memory planning. There are so many ways you can incorporate these wonderful kits in your planning, memory keeping, journaling, and so much more. Thank You and Happy Planning.
