Hi Everyone! It’s Jackie here and I would love to show you a fun way I used some of the ‘bits’ from the May Little Bits Box. Sometimes, we get busy in life, so we do not always have the time to record our captured memories – well, I want to share a way to make a quick keepsake for life’s little moments.
I kept it pretty simple with this project. I used a pocket printer, a couple of dies and the May Little Bits – that’s it! I printed two photos that I took of my kids on the day they all got new haircuts.
For my son’s “page”, I loved the blue and green colors, so I went with those. I cut one of the patterned papers using a die cutting tool, but you could just as easily use a paper trimmer and cut it to size. These pages are about 3.25” x 4”.
I layered both ephemera and stickers on the page in order to give the photo some dimension, but all in all, I kept it super simple. In just a couple of minutes, a scrapbook page was completed.
Next on the list was a layout for my daughters. I wanted to continue to use only the stickers and ephemera, in order to keep the project simple.
I loved all of the pinks in the patterned paper, so it was really hard for me to decide which to use. I had everything all picked out for one side of the paper, only to flip it over at the last minute and go with the pink tassels.
After layering a few ‘bits’ and the photo, their layout was also complete. In almost no time at all, I had created two pages that they can hopefully share with their future families.
Thank you all for scrapping with me and I hope this project helped give you an idea for quick & simple memory keeping using your Little Bits Box monthly kit.
