It’s Stephanie [IG: @beautybystarlet] back again on the Mommylhey blog with another exciting DIY Monthly Calendar layout using items from the incredible April’s Little Bits Box!
If you haven’t already preordered the future Little Bits Boxes, I encourage you to subscribe ASAP!
I’ll be using the stickers, stamps set, decorate paper and die cuts from the April’s Little Bits Box to decorate my May monthly calendar in my Mini Happy Planner!
If you guys have been following my blog posts, you’ll know that I love to use the Mommylhey stamps on sticker paper so that I can color them in with copic markers without worrying about bleeding through my planner pages. Isn’t this stamp set absolutely adorable?
Next, I applied the stamped images to my monthly planner layout and added some of my favorite stickers from the April’s Little Bits Box! Are you obsessing over this gem pen like I am? It is filled with gel ink and writes SUPER SMOOTH!!
If you are a fan of die cuts, you’ll be extremely impressed with the amount that you get from this monthly planner kits! 32 pieces to be exact!! I decided to add some of these to my layout to give them a nice 3D effect.
If you love copic markers as much as I do, you’ll enjoy this next step! Color those cute stamped images in!
This next step is optional, but extremely useful and cute! I took my favorite decorate paper from the Little Bits Box and cut it into 4.25 inches x 2.25 inches to create a cute bookmark for my monthly layout. I used a hole puncher and scissors to create the same hole punched pattern as the Mini Happy Planner!
I decided to add a white piece of cardstock (3.75 inches x 1.75 inches) onto the decorate paper. The die cuts were the perfect addition to this bookmark!
I added in special events for May that I wanted to keep track of in my DIY Mommylhey bookmark! You could also use this bookmark to hold birthdays for the month, the possibilities are endless!
I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! Tag me on Instagram [@beautybystarlet] to show me how you used your April’s Little Bits Box! I can’t wait to see your creations!
