Hello Everyone, Leslie Here! Happy Holidays and an even Happier New Year! It’s that time of year, the week before the New Year, 2017! So many thoughts run through my head, and especially ideas, my hopes, and my Vision for the year to come. I wanted to share with you how I set up my monthly Vision Board using the new stamps releases by Mommy Lhey Designs, along with items from the December Little Bits Kit. Below I am using the new stamps, Magical You, Good Vibes, and Chubby Flags. The inks used are Plumera from the Paradise Set and Queen of the Night from the Diva Set . I am also using Washi from the Shabby Bundle and one of the new pens, Bloody Mary Sparkling Pens.
Let’s get started. I am using the Vision Board page from My Prima Planner (Breathe). I stamped “January” at the top of the page with the Scripty Months Stamps, and using some of the paper from the December Little Bits kit, I stamped with the Chubby Flags letters the word “Create” and cut out to make a banner for the page. I am building my page around my One Word for the Year. Using the new Shabby Washi, I made a center for my page and wrote the definition for my word. Since this page will be at the front of my Vision planner, I want the focus to be about my word.
Next , I added the stamps I thought would best represent what I want to see for myself in the coming year. I am a firm believer of Vision Boards, and with this page and the pages to come, I will have these images floating from my eyes to my heart. And from personal experience, this works. Most of my big dreams I had on my vision boards from last year have come to fruition. Using words like Be Kind, and Sparkle and Shine, from the Good Vibes and Magical You stamps, along with these beautiful images, all designed by Mommy Lhey, I am able to express what I want to accomplish in the coming year with pictures, key words, and ideas.
I then colored in my images with colored pencils, and using the Bloody Mary Sparkling Pen, I wrote out beside each image, the goals and ideas I have for each Vision. For example, Be Kind to myself, to those around me, and to leave a small foot print on this planet. All of these have steps and actions I will take in the coming year, such as using the resources I have. In other words, Use My Stash in my crafty space!
Of course I added more layers of the beautiful washi throughout the page and added some acrylic dots that are in our December Little Bits kit. I Love all the stamps designed by Mommy Lhey. They bring me much joy and a smile to my face. They are perfect for my Vision Board.
Thank for reading!
