Today, I wanted to show you guys how I decorated my Happy Planner using the October Littlebits stickers!
I love how bright, vibrant and thick the stickers are! It makes me happy (and hungry)!
If you watch my YouTube Plan with Me’s, you’ll be familiar with my style. I always start out with washi tape to lay down the foundation. I choose washi based on the colors on the stickers as you see below.
I decided to cover the days of the week with the pink washi so that I could use the circle days of the week stickers, but since I already used that method in a previous layout using September’s kit (picture on my IG), I decided to go with the rectangular days of the week instead. So technically, I didn’t really have to cover the days of the week with washi. I could have just overlapped the stickers.
I used the large and medium sized boxes to cover the afternoon sections in my Happy Planner since I didn’t do much the whole week. This is pretty much my method to fill the white spaces since I like my layouts with minimum white spaces.
The washi strips/banners can be used alone or layered as I’ve done below.
Some of the functional banners may need to be trimmed down to fit into the Happy Planner margins.
Using the boba stamp from the kit, I decided to turn it into a sticker (tutorial coming in next blog!) so that I could take it on the go.
Here is a picture before the pen. I love how bright and yummy the layout looks. So much can be done using the Sticky Pal stickers! I still have a lot of stickers left which I can use to decorate my Traveler’s Notebook insert (stay tuned!)
And here is how the layout looks after I filled it using the Crown Gel Black Pen that came in the October Kit!
I love how this turned out! How did you decorate your planner with the stickers? Don’t forget to use hashtag #littlebits! I would love to see it and be inspired!! If you loved this kit, you wouldn’t want to miss November’s Littlebits! Pre-order now because quantities are limited! See you guys next time.
