Hello planner friends! This is Alesia, and I am here to share with you how I combine pretty planning and functionality. I love pretty things, and especially when I have something really pretty on my daily spread. It really inspires me to plan in my planner and to use it every day. Even when I am not having a good day at all, it cheers me up when I look at my planner. However, I can’t just take the whole space to decorate my daily spreads, I need some blank spots to put my thoughts and my plans on. We are all different and have different styles of planning, but I really want to share my style planning with you.
I will be using December Little Bits box.
So I will show you how I plan my days in my planner. I will be using:
- Washi tape from the December Little Bits kit
- Digital printables that come with the December’s Little Bits
- Sticky notes and stickers, also from December’s Little Bits
- Scissors to fussy cut shapes.
- Glue stick.
First, I like to start with the washi tape. I like to put it on the top and bottom of the page, or sometimes I lay it on the sides where the holes are. I love using washi tapes in my daily spreads.
Then, I would go through the stickers from December’s box and lay down those that I think look good with my spread.
Then,I would print out December’s digital files (that is provided to all subscribers) and fussy-cut out floral design and paste it at the corners of my pages.
Also, there is really cute sticky note that I really love. I will put it on my to do page, and lay another sticker just to make it fun and cute.
And at last I would put my plans on a paper. I like to put simple tasks on one page and most complicated on the other. This makes it easier for me to complete all of my to do’s.
Of course, I don’t always finish everything that I plan for the day, but at least I can put everything that I have in my head on paper.
I hope this gives you inspiration on how you can make your spread cute and functional. Don’t forget to join us in the Mommy Lhey Everything Facebook group for more creative inspirations!
