I am so excited to share with you how I plan! As a busy mom and girl boss, I really find that planning helps me relax and gives me some much needed “me time”. Most importantly, planning helps me feel like I have a good handle on the week ahead. I like to sit down and plan on Sunday nights after I have tucked my kiddo to sleep. I sit down at my kitchen table and surround myself with my favorite stickers, my laptop, my favorite pens and of course my planner. I’m currently using an Erin Condren Life Planner but I have to admit that as a true planner addict, I own many and find myself changing planners often to suit my needs. The Mommy Lhey Little Bits box is so versatile and works in all of my planners.
I find it really helpful to keep sticky notes in my planner to record future events. Pictured here are the gorgeous foil lined sticky notes from the September Enchanted Forest Little Bits box from Mommy Lhey. If I schedule a doctor’s appointment or have an important event in the future, I will jot it down on a sticky note as a reminder to myself. This way I never have to panic and wonder when I scheduled that six-month dental cleaning or when what the date is of the spring recital at school.
In addition to being a planner addict, I am obsessed with stickers. What I love about the Mommy Lhey Little Bits Boxes is that they are filled with so many gorgeous stickers that are all beautifully coordinated. Decorating my planner with stickers really helps me unwind and makes me smile when I refer to my planner throughout the week.
This week I exclusively used stickers from the Mommy Lhey Enchanted Forest Little Bits Box. The squirrel paper clip from the Enchanted Forest collection is also utterly adorable and the new pens from the Urban Chic collection are absolutely stunning.
I know it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but I find that it’s so important for me to take some time each week to sit down and plan. When I make time to plan, I feel like I get more accomplished and I don’t find myself forgetting important things.
I would love to hear how you plan? Do you use stickers? Do you prefer stamping? Do you plan as you go throughout the week or do you sit down before the week starts? Be sure to comment below and share your favorite planning tips!
