First, I used the Spotty Alpha to stamp my name in my mini. I do not have the gift of hand- lettering and my handwriting is super, super small so I usually leave these pages blank. But when I saw this fun alpha, I knew I had to put it to use.
I covered up the pre-printed days and dates with little strips of paper and then I used some labels from my stash upon which I stamped the days of the week in Plumeria using the Beautiful Days stamp set.
I decided to stick with two main ink colors (Plumeria and Queen of the Night) for this spread to keep it from being too overwhelming. I punched some circles from a 6×6 patterned paper pad for additional pops of color.
The “You Light up my Life” stamp from the Love in Full Bloom set is so perfect and I can imagine myself using it again and again. I placed some enamel dots from the January Little Bits box around the spread to fill some empty spots.
I’ve decided to make this mini Happy Planner a place to keep my mind full of gratitude. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by life but when I step back, I realize all the things (little and big) that I have to be grateful for. I keep this mini in my bag and just pen my gratitude every day. This is the one planner that I’ve foregone using a typewriter on because I want this to be a quick little project that I’ll keep up with. Some weeks may be more decorated than others but I’m ok with that!
The ornate frames from the Beautiful Days stamp set are just so pretty! They make a great focal point on your pages without having to add too much more! I stamped the “Work” from the Yes I can set. The speech bubble and the “I’m busy” are both from the No Adulting set.
