Hello friends! Brenda Smith here to share with you a pocket page spread made using the January Little Bits box. Yes, these boxes are intended for planners and travelers notebooks, but with the few pocket cards Lhey includes, they work great for pocket page spreads too.
I printed up my photos in various sizes, making sure to print some smaller ones that would fit on top of a card of patterned paper. I then laid out some of my cards and rearranged the photos and the cards until I found an arrangement that was pleasing to me.
I love that Lhey includes patterned papers in every kit because it allows me to make more pocket cards when I need to. The cards included in the kit are perfect filler cards but I also like to make some cards with space for journaling. I trimmed down the sticky notes from the January Little Bits box to create a space for ournaling on the bottom right card.
The stickers included in the Little Bits Box work great for pocket pages as well. I used some dimensional foam adhesive to pop up the “Oh Snap” and give that card a little dimension.
On this side, to make my journal card, I trimmed down one of the patterned papers from the kit and printed out my journaling on my printer. Then I added some extra touches with the enamel dots, a circle cut in half from the sticker sheets, and “yes” from the die cut embellishment pieces included in the kit.
On this card, the backing is another piece of patterned paper from the kit and then I used the other half of the circle from the sticker sheet. The lime green chevron is trimmed from a 4×6 chevron card from the kit.
Hope I’ve inspired you to use your Little Bits kits outside of your planners. Happy crafting!
