Hi again! It’s Courtney here to share with you a fun and creative way to use your MommyLhey stamps! This week I’m masking my ML stamps to create new and unique pairings to add to my spread! Masking adds an entirely original aspect to stamping and something I’ve been doing a lot more of lately.
For this spread you’ll need the following materials:
- June ML Stamp Set
- Momento Tuxedo Black Ink
- Acrylic Stamping Block
- Coloring Medium – I used Copic markers
- Xpress it cardstock (or any sticker paper or cardstock)
- Tape runner
First, stamp out the image you want to mask, here I stamped the cake stamp from – Purrty Over Here and then stamped it again on a post it note, being mindful of where the adhesive is located.
After stamping out the cake on the post it I simply cut it out as closely as possible to the edges. Adhere the post it image you just cut out over the stamped cake image on your cardstock.
Then choose another stamp (I choose the photo frame from the same stamp set) and position it over your existing stamped image and press down. Afterwards, lift up the post it and you’ll find your two stamps have now become one original image!
Do this with as many combinations of stamps as you want! The end result is awesome!
Next, simply color your images, cut them out and adhere them to your planner spread! Quick and easy! The end result is a completely unique and original spread!
I hope you enjoyed this weeks plan with me! Be sure to find me on IG (@clmplans) to see other ways to use your ML products! Have a great weekend!
