Hello lovelies, Leslie here, and I am up on the blog today sharing this amazing Fresh Pick February Little Bits kit and how I used it for my monthly plans. The colors and designs by Mommy Lhey are absolutely wonderful, cheery and down-right yummy. In this kit you get these amazing sticky notes, 3 double sided patterned paper with gorgeous fresh fruit designs, so many die cuts, tons of stickers for any type of planning, the most adorable stamp set, planner charm and paper clip, enamel dots, wonderful Journal cards, a pom pom pen, the MyPrima Glue pen, and this wonderful exclusive strawberry washi.
I am doing my Month at a Glance using the MyPrima Planner monthly pages, and will also be using some of my favorite Mommy Lhey washi that compliments this Fresh Pick kit so well. Shown below is Spring Breeze, Summer Buddies, and Aloha Love. I also grabbed some foil sheets by Heidi Swapp to use with the glue pen. In this picture you get a close up of the sweetest planner clip. She is adorable.
When first setting up my month at a glance I get out my washi and start blocking off dates for traveling and definite appointments I know that will be coming up. Using the vibrant exclusive Strawberry washi from our kit, along with the 3 other washi, I lined the days I knew we would be gone as well as adding fun touches of color to my pages at the bottom and top. I then added the sweetest little girl stamp from our kit and used the Leafy Green pigment ink to add some special touches to events coming up in the month.
There are so many great elements in this month’s kit. Using the gorgeous die cuts and stickers with all the bright and wonderful fruits and phrases, I added them throughout my layout, especially in the upper left corner and lower right corner where there are no dates. I used the lemon paper for the corners with layers of fun stickers and die cuts. On the flip side of the lemon paper is a colorful stripe side, which I added to the Goals column on the far right. I love how there is a sticker for everything I need in our kits.
By the way, the MyPrima glue pen included in our kit is awesome. I used the glue for adhering my die cuts and paper to the pages. It sticks perfectly.
Here is a closer look at the left side of the month, after I added a few more stickers and appointments for the month. I also grabbed some of the foil paper and played a bit more with the planner glue. Just a dab of glue to some of the dates and to the watermelon on the exclusive Life is Sweet Stamp, then laid the foil on top, burnished the foil, and lift up. Tada! It gives a nice added touch to my pages. I did the same technique with the heart on the right side of the month.
Here is the right side of the month. These watermelon sticky notes are so pretty and fun. Not to mention these beautiful journal cards in our kit. Everything Mommy Lhey has designed for our kits are so wonderful and creative.
I love how it all comes together for my March at a glance. The February Little Bits kit brings so much happy to my pages. I can’t help but smile when it’s all laid out in front of me. It’s definitely giving me Spring Fever. I hope you enjoyed this post, and please check out the other posts from our design team for more great inspiration for your planner pages.
