First, I went ahead and stamped out all the new stamps ML released this month on Xpress It card stock, using Momento – Tuxedo Black ink. Afterwards, I cut all my images byI sending all sheets through my Brother Scan N Cut. Here’s a look at a few stamped images cut out and ready for coloring.
Once I had my stamps ready, I went ahead and colored them to match both my ML travelers notebook and the colors used in the August Little Bits. If you’ve been following along on my past blogs, you’ll know that I color match using handy printouts offered from Copic.
When all my stamps were colored and ready to be added to my inserts, I printed Lhey’s gorgeous digital papers on Vellum paper in order to give a little bit of visual interest and contrast in my ML travelers notebook. I then cut down the papers to fit neatly around my inserts and act as a “cover” or “dashboard”.
Then I prepared my ML and Annie Plans Collab insert! After printing, folding and rounding my corners with a corner punch, my insert was ready to go!
I arranged my inserts within my ML TN – adding 4 total (2 graph paper notebooks, one blank paper notebook and the ML and Annie Plans Collab) and added all dashboards I created around each.
I added the sticky notes included in the August Little Bits to the front pocket of my TN for a quick place to jot notes, along with a few other pieces from the Little Bits , such as the adorable bow decorative paperclip and one of the adorable girl die cuts. Total #pocketlove
Next I used the ML and Annie Plans Collab insert, adding in my running task list to the “to do” pages at the front of the insert.
Then I updated my daily page for that day by using washi and various other stickers also included in the Little Bits Box. I added my cut and colored stamps from ML’s “Stamp it Up” set to designate tasks to be completed that day. I also updated the “plan” page on the corresponding side with upcoming events, tasks and birthdays for the remainder of September.
I also created a quick task list and overview of reminders for this month in one of my graph paper inserts. For the task list on the first page I simply took one of the ML sticky notes from the Little Bits and wrote out my “to do’s” and added to my notebook with a little piece of washi tape for added security. I then traced a few hexagons at the bottom of the page for reminders and added stamps (again from the “Stamp it Up” set to a few of the hexagons for added interest and decoration.
I then planned out my Wednesday on the following page using wash and Little Bits stickers as well as tracing a few boxes from another ML stencil before adding my completed stamps to each; I added washi to the top and bottom and then filled in the boxes with Wednesday’s tasks and outlined/shaded the boxes for a little depth.
Lastly, I went on to create a spread for Thursday as well. This time I used the blank notebook and stickers, washi and stencils from past and current ML Little Bits Box. I set up my daily spread similarly to the previous daily spreads and added same to my ML TN. Here’s a look at the finished result.
