Difficulty level: super duper easy
Digital stamps are black and white images that you will receive in digital format – which you can print and colour, or use a coloring app, then print! You can get these digital stamps from the store and in your Little Bits box.
First, we are going to make a simple card.
You will need:
- Stamp with sentiment or alphabet stickers
- Foam dots/foam tape (optional if you’d like a pop-up effect!)
- Patterned paper for your card background
- Die cut frame (optional too!)
- Digital stamp image
I’m using the Mom & I digital stamp to create a quick and simple card for my mom. I coloured the images using the Recolor app – it’s amazing! You really should give it a try. Then, I printed the image onto cardstock, and cut them out.
Next, I arranged the images and sentiments before I stick them onto the card. I decided to use some Thickers for the word “Mom”, and the “I Love You” stamp from the Doodled Porcupine stamp set. I stuck the word “Mom” onto some vellum just for additional effect 😉
Lastly, I used double sided tape to stick everything down, and voila! My card is done and my mom loves it! This took me about 20 minutes to create, and it’s a great way to brighten up someone’s day ♡
You know how die cuts are all the rage now? Everyone has them in their planners and it’s a great way to make your planner even cuter. So yes! You can use the digital stamp as a die cut. Simply color (again, I used the Recolor app), print and cut! You can choose to laminate it too if you’d like.
I’m using this beautiful Bikini Lad and I colored her to match the insides of my planner, and I stuck her at the back of a notebook with a paperclip. Looking at her makes me soooooo excited for my upcoming vacation to Korea! I’m heading to Jeju Island where there are beautiful beaches, waterfalls, mountains, and caves. This bikini lad is definitely coming along with me, together with the June Little Bits kit!
I hope this inspired you to try using the digital stamps, especially since there’s no actual coloring involved 😉 I’ll see you in the next blog post! Take care xxx
