I believe I’ve mention in my previous blog about MommyLhey’s planners. I had been holding off on decorating my pink-a-dot pocket TN coz I wanted to wait for the perfect theme. But it is now time to glam it up!!!
For the main inserts, Im using the one that came with the TN (I will show you how I decorate them later on.) and another insert I bought from an etsy shop. It’s a smaller size but I love the layout and texture of the paper..
After lots of thought, I decided to use two of my MommyLhey TN for my important personal appointments and reminders.
But let me just say Im very excited to be working on this project because Im setting up my pocket TN using MommyLhey Little Bits box from August!!! Im inlove with this kit..I will show you how I made my insert covers with different technique using stamp image and more. I had been so pre-occupied with moving and renovations in the house and this kit just makes me so happy. I currently dont have a permanent office at the moment due to some renovation but I am still hustling and trying to have time to play and create.Which I believe is very important.. So lets get started shall we..
Mommylhey stamp set
Mommylhey August Little Bits box
Pattern or solid color cardstock
Plain white Sticker paper
I wanted my cover for inserts to be cute and fun, to give it more exciting to work with. But, I wanted them all to coordinate. I did want them to be matchy-matchy, and go together nicely, since they would be sharing a home in my MommyLhey TN.
I first stamp Images on plain white sticker paper. Color and cut them out. On this technique I only color the skin and hair mostly.. And you will see why on the next step.
Next I stamped same image I did on step one to printed cardstock I choose which I got from Mommylhey August Little Bits box. Im Inlove with this printed papers!!! I cut out the stamp images but just the outfit of the girl stamp. Which I will then glue to the first stamped images we made earlier to create a pretty outfit print for our stamp girls.
On this cover Im using the more subtle but fun black and white printed cardstock and add different die cuts from ML Little Bits box to go with my stamp image. And voila…
And, a look at them all together…
I think they are perfect compliment to each other and goes pretty well with my whole TN. Overall, I am extremely happy with the results. And, I must admit I surpass my expectation on this mini project. I hope you guys like it as well..
Thank you for your time. Until next time.
