Hello Stamping Friends!!
I’m Beth from @createwithbeth here today to show you my weekly layout using Mommy Lhey Stamps.
If you have followed along on my Instagram you may have noticed that I LOVE using Mommy Lhey stamps. The reason you ask? The designs are so unique from other stamps I have seen or worked with. I was super excited when Lhey sent me these to play with. So I decided to plan with them.
Everyone has their own planning system and my system is pretty much a “to-do” list. So when I creatively plan I usually decorate first, then I create my to-list. I enjoy using things like stamps, washi tape, stickers, cardstock, and patterned paper.
I really don’t have a special way of creatively planning. I usually choose a color palette and go with it. This layout, I went with a teal, purple, and grey. If I know there is something specific going on in my week, I’ll use a stamp as a reminder. For example, I plan to travel Friday to Sunday so I used the Travel stamp from the “My Journey” set. I don’t love my handwriting so if there is a stamp or sticker that can do that for me and make it pretty, I’ll use it. I also like to fill in any blank spaces with patterned paper or stamps if I know I won’t be using that space.
Another thing you can do when using stamps is you can be creative with them. Use them not for their intended purpose. Be innovative. My example for this is I created a border using the floral side of the circle stamp from the “Shabby Girlfriend” set. There is no one way to decorate your planner so go ahead and create mistakes, try new things, and most importantly, have fun with it.
Happy Planning and Stamping!!
