Hi Planner Girlfriends! Celene here! I’m here to talk about the new TN set-up I made for my Standard Size Pink-A-Dot Notebook. Setting it up is a special activity for me as this culminates all the things that I love about Mommy Lhey!
I love Mommy Lhey’s Little Bits Box. And the August Box is an easy favourite of mine because it comes in my 2 favourite colors: Pink & Green! The Little Bits Box is a complete planner decorating kit. When I say complete, it really is! It has high quality papers, planner stickers, a washi tape roll, a pretty pen, a sticky note pad, a planner charm, planner clip, sequins, a pretty pouch, mini stamp set, page markers, digital downloads and yep, your eyes do not deceive you — that is a pretty blush pink TN over there (I love it! I am already using it as a thought diary)!
When I set up my TN or planner I have 5 things top of mind. These are:
- Page Markers
I made 3 dashboards for my Pink-A-Dot TN. I used the 3 papers included in my August Little Bits Kit. Can I just say that I really love the quality the papers come in? They are vibrant and with a pretty sheen! I cut them to size which is about 8 x 10 ¼ inches each, folded them in the middle lengthwise and I decorated each front with pretty ephemeras, washi tapes and stickers. I also printed some digital goodies on acetate paper and vellum for some fun dashboard layers.
I have 2 Standard Size TN notebooks which I have planned to store in my Pink-A-Dot TN because their covers match everything too and then I also printed the Standard Size TN Inserts exclusively released by Mommy Lhey in the Mommy Lhey Everything Facebook Page. (Join us there if you still haven’t! There are tons of free stuff curated by Mommy Lhey exclusively for members!)
I decorated the inserts with the matching planner stickers from the Little Bits Box. I love that they are foiled! I used the days of the week, dates, and some decorative ones too! That girl reading a book in bed is so totally ME!
I like decorating my planner pockets and going a little overboard with it. Because why not? It’s one of the first things you see when you (or a planner friend!) open your planner. I like placing a statement/journaling card on the window pockets, inserting planner clips here and there, placing in a washi holder which holds my favourite washi tapes, slipping in some pretty ephemeras, and storing planner essentials like my Little Bits mini stamps and planner stencils.
I used the page markers from the August Little Bits Box, the ones that say TODAY and WEEK. I trimmed them to 5 inches crosswise so they would fit right on top of my inserts.
Planner Charm & Pen
The August Little Bits Planner Charm is a sweet little darling! I attached it on the spine of my Pink-A-Dot TN and it seems to be enjoying the spotlight! And last but not the least, the gorgeous black and gold pen with gold flakes goes in the elastic pen loop of my Pink-A-Dot!
And it is all set! Yaaay! I hope to see a set-up of your Mommy Lhey TNs and Planners too! What other elements do you consider when setting up your TN? I would love to know! I hope you enjoyed reading through this post and it has inspired you to set-up your TNs using your Little Bits Box!
